If I could find another pair of the Soda Mary Janes that they were originally, I would have no problem making you a pair of your own. They're actually pretty easy to convert yourself if you're good with a needle and thread.
Of course, I wanted another pair of their high-heeled high tops in the first place and couldn't find those either which was why I bought the Mary Janes.

jangoDurango"Ed will have to do for now.
I'm not particualrly worried because I feel that most of us have been fed enough of the "tolerance" business to think conservapedia's articles are less than reputable. The only thing that concerns me is that children apparently are using this as a source for their homework. imagine when a child hands in a paper wherein he's cited that homosexuality is a mental disorder. His teacher will likely mark his paper lower and he'll in turn probably believe that it is in fact a disorder because his teacher said it wasn't.
After all, I once had a teacher try to tell me tasmanian devils were lizards.

I would love to see the homework assignments that they did on my journal entries. Imagine. A middle-schooler's thesis on why trollosaurusrex666 got banned. Or better yet, a report on the history of useless rebellions: from the middle-ages to DA's Nazi Symbolism Argument.

Well good then. We win either way. Either you'll be too liberal to be tolerant of conservapedia in the first place, or so conservative that you'll eventually become bored with it.

Not quite. It's weird....most American Jews couldn't give a rat's ass about Israel or at least are indifferent. It's just the few that make a lot of noise. It's more like...say an American Jew wanted to go to Israel, they could go for free....

Sorry but to me, It's more of a Zionist problem than a Jewish problem. And no, they really aren't one in the same.
Technically, they arenβt the same, but your excuse is meaningless. That article illustrates how only a "few" have had a hugely-negative, cumulative impact on White civilization (over something like a hundred years) and even many of those few were not outwardly extreme. Where was the supposed majority of reasoned, caring, moderate, non-zionist jews (a group to which you infer being a part) during all of that time? Where were they when SIXTY MILLION Germans were being purposely starved and forcibly moved (right after WWII, when the US was showing the world that it had learned nothing from the aftermath of the Versailles Treaty)?
I am not saying that you are a zionist, just because you are a jew, but you simply saying that these are two different things, is not enough to avoid your complicity in the actions of a minority. For instance, when people tell me that the vast majority of muslims are moderate, I tell them that (for all practical, group-sized purposes) there is no such thing as a moderate muslim, and here is my simple, hypothetical, thought experiment to prove it. Suppose that a small group of extremist muslims took over the US, and swiftly instituted their own government, with sharia law . Forget about how they did it. Letβs assume that they competently executed a brilliant plan, practically overnight. The point of this mental exercise is to determine what the majority of American muslims would say and do, during the few days and weeks following this takeover.
The answer is, likely, "nothing". Sure, some of them might vote with their feet, and leave the US, and from some of those who stayed, there might be meager apologies about how they would not have sought collective power through such means, especially if it had involved a rather large loss of non-muslim lives. However, the bottom line, for most of the so-called "moderate" muslims, is that they would be secretly happy about the new state of affairs, into which they would seamlessly merge, over time.
The same applies to jews. If Israel suddenly ceased to exist, or if it suddenly expanded its size (even at the loss of millions of arab lives) many jews, including those who would never travel to Israel, would feel some sadness (for the former example) or some joy (for the latter example). You are all connected, through millennia of religion-based eugenics (particularly groups like the Neturei Karta (who are anti-zionists, but extremists in their own right).
A minority usually cannot exist without the implicit, collective approval of the majority. You, personally, in some small way, benefit from the acts of the zionists (even if itβs getting a small amount of respect/help, here and there , for being a jew). Likewise, you, personally, experience some of the shadow cast by the negative actions of the zionists. Therefore, if you want to fully separate yourself from zionism, you will need to do more than simply state that you are part of a moderate majority of jews who donβt particularly care for Israel. I don't know exactly what that "more" is, for you, but you could start by looking at your own quote by Sartre.

also...one more thing (sorry for the multipul posts, my brain is like scrambled eggs and I only recently thought of saying this. My lack of coherence isn't normal). For the record, I believe the United States is more guilty than any other country in this world of war crimes, and I believe that the US should be held accountable, but hasn't.

First off, I'm not a Jew. I am an atheist.
That majority was being part of the majority of the civilization, as in, being active members of society and not seperating themselves for being Jewish.
I understand your idea regarding the muslims, yes, the American muslims would likely agree.
I believe a lot of that has to do with conditioning. If Israel ceased to exist, sur many would be sad, even though who perhaps couldn't give a crap, it's conditioning though and sure people are responsible for it and should think long and hard about what they really stand for.
I Don't benifit at all from Zionism, if anything I've gotten hurt by it, you don't know a thing about me except for what I've told you.
My main problem is that you should never assume anything about any group of people. I strive to know people as individuals which is why I have patience for people who are possibly racist or extremist in some way. I am friends with some of the people who used to harass me, calling me anti-semetic.
And I never simply stated that I am part of a moderate majority of jews who don't particularly care for israel. IN my personal expieriences which is all I can base some things off of, Jewish people that I have known have been one or both of two things, 1. Athetist 2. Nuetral regarding Israel. I am not part of that majority becuase I am not Jewish, I am an atheist, I identify with Odinism on the grounds circling around heritage.
And don't play the quote in my signature thing, I am no hypocrite. I am heavily anti-zionist and will argue my reasons for it till death. I believe that if I do not state what I believe then I am a hypocrite according to my signature.

The difference between America and a roach motel is that we're giving illegal immigrants a place to hole up, breed, and thrive. They're not returning to the nest with poison for their queen. Miss Coulter needs to work on her metaphors.

Not unless that "poison" is American culture. Anyway, I don't particularly like her, but she doesn't need a better metaphor because the title was only meant to attract attention. The article was good because it was different for her, and because she said some important things, such as:
With his 1965 immigration act, Kennedy embarked on entirely transforming American culture for no good reason. In 1960, whites were 90 percent of the country. The Census Bureau recently estimated that whites already account for less than two-thirds of the population and will be a minority by 2050. Other estimates put that day much sooner. One may assume the new majority will not be such compassionate overlords as the white majority has been. If this sort of drastic change were legally imposed on any group other than white Americans, it would be called genocide. Yet whites are called racists merely for mentioning the fact that current immigration law is intentionally designed to reduce their percentage in the population.
It's like she's become a Nazi overnight. Don't be jealous, though, because you're still my favorite reporter!

Oh you!
I'm just particular about my literary mechanics. It was an excellent phrase, I just think if she's going to use it, it should actually apply correctly. It makes her look irreputable if she doesn't. Not that she seems particularly concerned about that. I personally have no problem with her like everyone else seems to. That same newspaper I read that publishes Mr. Pitts columns also publishes hers, though I believe they do it on Sunday, so I don't read it regularly. (I get the newspaper for free at work so I read it then.) The letters to the editor are always full of people bitching about it. Some things she says I agree with, others I don't. But unlike all those in the editorial letters, I don't think it should hinder her right to her free speech. And if newspapers will pay her for it, then more power to her.
But really. She ought use her words correctly.

We were looking through aff.net to see just how bad fan fic could be when we found that there was indeed adult fan fiction of the Bible. Upon seeing that there were several with original characters, it of course begged the question. How do you Mary-Sue the Bible? It had one to begin with.
Mary was a Mary-Sue if ever there was one. Virgin mother of the savior of the world? Come on. Even the most rabid Suethors aren't that audacious.
