No you're not- I was gonna wet it down anyway to try to turn it into a cuff and make the claws stick out more in the first place. it would have happened either way.
I have 1 hull of the claws left but the others were like shedding?? like the tips were peeling or something like it had been grinding its claws down and I couldn't see that before cause they were hidden in the paw

this happened because I am just inexperienced and lack tools and whatnot

I'm thinking of reinforcing it with cow leather like I did my other one. I have never had a tail with such weak leather that looked fine.

That's really strange. I've thought about ways to reinforce them. I figure so long as there is something in the middle to hold the skin without it stretching that would make it sturdy. Whatever you end up doing, let me know! I'm curious.
