I found it on ebay. Apparently they handed out these metal keys to the people who worked on the movie, and left a few of them lying around a city for fans to find...or something.

Yes! The book was tons of fun.

Though I think I liked the movie adaption better.
Especially like...the addition of Wybie. I thought that was well done.
