I practice. A ton. XD That's the secret. X3 I also really focus on basic shapes, if you can master those, you can draw ANYTHING, and use your wrist to draw smoother lines in general. If you have focal point to balance your hand while you draw, the lines will look smoother. 

There's three secrets for you.....sorry they aren't really 'secrets'..... xD

Hmmm, I have that problem quite often as well, with Seasonal Affective Disorder. I find that laughing really helps to keep back the depression, even if it's just looking at cute things or something to make you smile even a little. It works! :3 Hmmmmm.....-has an idea- .......=w= I HAS AN IDEA! Gimme a day or two though. XD I'm slow. XD 

And no problem, it's just some tips for you for when you do get back into the swing of things! :3
