I've thought about Mac OS and iOS at length! I haven't decided how to go about it yet, tbh. Android is in the same boat. Do I make different ones for each version? Do I make just the one? I don't know yet

Thanks for looking! Opera is my favourite, haha. I use Art Rage for prototyping/sketching, then usually into Illustrator for the most part, Photoshop for any stuff to polish off a picture or compositing a comic. Experimenting with other stuff though, Black Ink is interesting and half-price on Steam at the moment, I think? Not sure what I'll use it for yet, could be good for atmospheric backgrounds and things, but it's a very different way of making images to me and still in development as far as I can see.

Oh, I've just been looking around for someone to do a commission to design a pony for my University(BYU). I'm hoping to get a My Little Pony club going and we need a mascot. Your designs are the best I've seen by far.

Yeah it's for Brigham Young University. They're kind of stingy on what clubs they allow, but were trying to get one set up if there is enough demand. If you could do a design that would be awesome! I'd really like to pay you for it. I'd feel bad otherwise. I don't know if you have a donation fund set up but if you do please let me know.

Depends what you mean if you mean "how do I decide what icons to do" then it's usually because one or more people have been badgering me to do for a while.

I'd like to say it depended on the quantity of requests but it doesn't as the other deciding factor is whether I have any inspiration when looking at the icon/app/whatever in general. Hence why iTunes took so long, and Windows!

If you meant "how do I decide what they'll look like", it can be an instant idea or might require reading about the software to get a feel for what it's like, how it works, what people think about it, etc.
