Light leak? Sounds like the apature is letting light in sort of thing, a term I've never heard before, but sounds pretty bad.

The seal needs to be replaced Its a older Minolta and the the seal is all gooey. I wan't to buy a new camera electronic SLR, mine is manual all the way
