The only part I liked about Eldest was when Eragon was drunk, since he acted so stupid. I was amused.

Eragon's a complete rip-off of LotR and Star Wars. It was obvious that he wasn't the real son of Morzan, since Eragon's too stupid to be the son of someone so epic. (Yes, my favorite character's always the one who is hardly mentioned >_>)

I'm not sure what I specificaly like about it. The feel of the picture in general appeals to me. I found it when searching around for fanart of Tolkein's works. I didn't even look at the date, so I didn't realize it was so old. I'll check out the rest of your gallery
