Hi Paris! I've been watching your progress for a while as well as some of your tutorials for about three years now. I rarely post but I felt like giving an update. These two post aren't related but watching your videos helped me get a jumpstart on drawing.Β

Have you seen my video about straights against curves?
I talk about static poses that make a character look wooden.
The girl on the left is nicely drawn but looks wooden. The other girl on the right looks better because of the line of action through her pose.

Yeah I've seen the straights vs curves video and currently I'm working on less static poses. I also like the idea of posing characters in a way that it tells a story kind of like with what you do with some of your art pieces. Have you ever thought about making a simple environment video?Β

I want to have a course on environments, but i might bring a professional in to create it. I'm not that strong in that department

There isn't really a right or wrong... there's just what you as the artist feels about the outcome.
I personally like the line of action through the pose, maybe you could have pushed it a little more. Great expressions that tells the story of the gag.

Recently just found your Youtube account....good lord! I feel inspired to draw again, been going through a rough patch in my life recently and also now going back to traditional work (But I also use Auto Sketch! ) can't wait for more work on here and Youtube, it's nice to listen to your expirenses and Question time's while I draw my own stuff, plus, thank you for bringing up the Figures and Gestures page, been such a help

Unfortunately I don't have anatomy lesson at the moment but i am planning to create them in the near future. I really enjoy life drawing classes, i try to attend them as much as i can. Its hard to find free time
