Why would you want to break that? I can't help but appreciate artists who know about tone and lighting etc. It's something I need a ton of practice on

I personally think its a pretty stupid way to draw. Too much depth and not enough variation in textures and colour. My old stuff was also done with a mouse and that's all i could achieve that looked half decent. It sort of just became a habit, it wasn't what i originally had envisioned for my work.

Well I hope you can find a style you enjoy! I think I'm still looking for mine. Also I could never imagine doing all this without a tablet, seems nearly impossible

Well when i was using a mouse, i developed a method that worked which i could used over and over again and my work was consistent. Now that I've actually got a tablet, i feel unsure and like I've gone back to square 1. I guess i just need to get some more practice
