wow I would like to see that happen X3 Well in Dark Aces case. I thought when the Original Cyclonia ruled, Dark Ace was working for her while he was with the Original Storm Hawks and Then After Cyclonia Died. Dark Ace then Served for Her Daughter Cyclonis. At Least that's what I think ;3 Finns Father hmmmmmmmmmmm well you never know he might be a Air Pirate XDD but personally I think finn's father was apart of the Original Storm Hawks team. :3

In regard to your theory about the Dark Ace, I have to say it seems quite sound--now whether he swore allegiance to Cyclonia first and then infiltrated the Storm Hawks as a sleeper agent, or was initially a Hawk himself who fell to the dark side, is anyone's guess. Regardless, it would seem that his loyalty to the current Master Cyclonis is beyond question--as you said, it may well stem from his service to her predecessor, mother or father.
Hmm...Finn's dear old dad as a Storm Hawk? I must confess the merit to that, though I prefer my theory better...if, for no other reason, that it raises the possibility that Finn's father might have had some kind of rivalry with Aerrow's.
Another fan concept I've devised is a new member of Cyclonia's "lieutenants"--tentatively named Nevermore "The Scarecrow," he would be a lanky, wiry figure clad in a Cyclonian bodysuit, accessorized by a hooded short-cloak and a featureless mask from which piercing amber eyes stare at the world. He also wears gauntlets which bear a resemblance to a hawk-handler's--fitting, as one of his recognizable traits is his flock of well-trained Occucrows, which serve both as a means of recon and as a form of attack. Unlike Ravess and Snipe, however, Nevermore does not reign over any particular terra--rather, he is a scout and spymaster, and as such is often never in one place for long. Be that as it may, he has shown a penchant for hanging out around Ravess when he returns to Cyclonia; it is suggested that he may harbor feelings for the elegant and sinister musician.
Of Cyclonis' lieutenants, he's the least able to hold his own in a straight-up contest, but he makes up for it by being a cunning strategist who uses all manner of foul play to gain the edge over more honorable opponents. He floats like a butterfly and stings like a hornet, employing a vicious kicking style with hawk-like crystal-talon boots when he has to get up close.

Indeed...the world of the fans is without conceivable limit, and so long as we give proper respect to the original spirit of the show, and capture the personalities of each character, I see no reason to deny us fans the right to create new stories in that universe--all for non-profit, of course.
Between the series, the films, and Hitoshi Okuda's mangas, I've whipped up a rough idea for a fandom of my own--whether it hits paper or no, I couldn't say, but I wouldn't mind talking about it, eh?

And given the ambiguity of the ending, it's really up to the player to interpret how Michale Beckett feels about having sired a child with one of the most tragic and frightening psychic/supernatural beings in recent games. Myself...I'd be divided. On one hand, there's the fact that Alma's rage against the world will suck in both the guilty and the innocent alike (case in point: eight-tenths of your squad were either killed or driven crazy by her otherworldly powers), and that she's just flat-out CREEPY. On the other hand...Alma's a VERY tragic character once you consider what Armacham did to her. What's more, I got the impression that she really DOES care about Michael Beckett, in her own way...and that after such prolonged exposure to negative emotions, the idea of "love" is something new to her.
On the whole? I'd try to see what I could do to set her tormented soul at ease...preferably without letting her consume the world as we know it in a storm of psychic and supernatural fury. A tall order, I know...but hey, every lasting relationship requires a little effort, right? XD

Apparently, you aren't. Alone, I mean. I can see, of course, how folks would go on and in about the improbability and craziness of getting a spectral entity pregnant. It IS something that one doesn't see every day.
But moving along, what say you of my analysis regarding Alma? I can't help but wonder if this was how Keegan ended up getting so warped--sympathizing so much with Alma that he became zealously blinded to everything else. Me, I'm trying to keep an objective view of the matter...but knowing what Alma went through makes it hard not to pity her...
...although she DOES have a way of scaring the living HELL out of a guy, right?

As for Becket's moral delimma, you pretty much took the words out of my mouth that I would have said had I not been trying feign sanity by hiding the fact that I think this much about my favorite games.

For example (to give one of my several), I'm a MAJOR Sly Cooper fan--I've thought of fandom ideas concerned that game series ranging from an alternate ending to continuation, and crossovers with several other cartoons and games--including a F.E.A.R. one, as fate would have it. And though these ideas have yet to make it onto digital paper, that hasn't stopped me from brainstorming them.
Anyway, glad to see it's not just me who thinks that Beckett might've found himself conflicted during his encounters with Alma....especially once it became clear that she'd finally realized that she wasn't a little girl anymore, and that she rather liked the raw psychic presence that was Beckett.
