the film ones are going pretty cheap right now. Only a couple hundred I think. My digital that I'm using cost like $700 x_________X" but it came with a lense too. lol.
I used a reg. digital first, and it took me a while to get use to my first 35mm. They're nice though.

bah, I'm not THAT good.
I'm still learning, a lot.
Hopefully photo my senior year will help a bit.

It takes practice, I had my film camera for a year before I actually starting turning pictures out that were semi-decent. My digital helps a lot though, because I can see my mistakes instantly and get a better idea on how to produce the photo I want.
Little digitals are nice to start with because they allow you to see your pictures right away, like you want, and can give you what you want, just lacking the image-quality that an SLR provides. Once you bump up, your pictures automatically improve because you already know what to look for, and the camera just makes it look better because it is made for that kind of stuff, unlike a regular little digital.

yea. my dad put all the pictures from our other camera on the main computer and so now i can't fix any of them with my program cause im not allowed to download it on that computer. So he also deleted them from the memory card so now i can't even put them on this computer. UGH! sometimes parents are dumb. and sometimes they are freaking awesome. lol

Lol, that sucks. Well, you could try to get a USB device thing (they're about $20+, depending on how much memory it has) and you can plug it into one computer and put pictures, documents, etc on it and then unplug it and put it in your other computer and take out the images, etc and then they'll be on that computer^^

yeah it does. I put this one in testing, and it didn't work too well with the frames which sucks. lol.
