i already told you it's more practise than anything. plus: there are so many types of talent. i certainly suck at drawing comics, which is something i always wanted to do. quasi-copying photographs gets dull after a while...

Very, very true.

I'm not that good, or at least I tell myself I'm not that good, at copying what's really there, but if I can see it in my head, then I can probably draw it.

But, that still doesn't stop me from seeing Rembrandt's work and wishing I could something half that good.

it's certainly a nice skill to have, but also can be a roadblock when working on projects without photo references. you don't get a hang on abstraction easily if you are used to hang on to the originals.
so keep up your work, i think you are on a good way. i also want to see more original work from you, which is the main reason i ed you (since i already follow your whostuff via dwf.com)

There's a lot of stuff here I'd forgotten I'd done, angles and stuff. So I might try and bring that sort of thing back into my art work.
That and the actual ability of being able to draw...
