Because you can say more - messages may let you state things more clearly, but they do not carry the personal weight of a spoken word. Plus I get to see the responses you give. There's a major difference in thinking you're smiling or laughing and actually seeing it.

I'm still trying to figure that out. Part of it is on wednesday nights - I have a commitment to practice and prepare for worship, but it's also one of the few times I get to hang out in person with you - trying to get both in is difficult, but I don't want to give up either - I won't.

That's fine. About practicing. Go ahead and practice if you need to. Then talk to me. I am trying to stay afterwards to talk a little bit but I get kind of ancy knowing that I will have to change in the one minute I have (if I stay the whole youth group). I guess you just need to know what is something you can give up and what is something you should still do. If you need to practice- do so. I don't mind. Seriously. If we want to talk, then we will. Think about it this way. If we look back in ten years from now, it won't matter if we got to talk for 5 minutes before class making you preform not so well, or if we talked 5 minutes after church. Both ways we'll have the 5 minutes.
