You know, I was a computer programmer and systems engineer, but in the prepress publishing world. The result of my work was beautiful printed pages, precisely done and marvelous graphic flowcharting to describe the process. I did a great deal of sales support, with direct customer interaction, but not the initial contact, the sales pitches or the closing. I then picked backup on the construction, implementation and production activities, with again, customer support for further upgrades and modifications.

I just am not a sales person. I hoped that dA would have fulfilled that promise, but alas, that has yet to happen.

While it sounds like you had a wondrously productive and fulfilling career creating precision work for the publishing industry, it seems a shame that all your knowledge, skills and creative pedigree, from your customer interaction (always a challenge, at least for me) and other roles in that world, hasn't transferred over to your sales experience, but the life is still young .

I have a dog who likes to sleep on shoes/blankets/slippers/ clothes on the floor xD well pretty much anything. I had to get fuzzy slippers since he refuses to sleep on my feet and keep me warm.

Hehe . Cats are exactly the same way when it comes to laying on soft and fuzzy things, slippers not excluded. Also, you might have expected this question, but are there any pictures of your slippers? I think it's awesome when I see people wearing a pair of fun, furry slippers because it shows me that they don't take life or themselves too seriously .

Yep, some are really temperamental or just plain mean. This was an old cat that had lived in my yard since the dawn of time, she wasn't very keen on this new puppy taking over xD
