Hi, love the wood land drawing, I had a question I'm tiring to make the jump from pencil and paper to the computer when it comes to my art and I wonted to know how do you make your lines so smooth when digitally inking?

A lot of ctrl+z It takes a long time to get it where you can run a line smooth. I still can't do it very well. I keep having to go back over and over to get it to come out smooth. I've also learned that the responses on a tablet (ie mine is a Bamboo Pen) can also affect it as well. Mine is one of the lowest quality tablets so I have to work a lot to get it to come out smoother. You have to learn what where your tablet will start to jump and adjust your hand motions to fit with it. It's all in the practice, patients, and training.

I have a bamboo tablet too and I use corel painter 11 and just recently I got manga studio v4 I'm hoping that might help give me an egad. Some other people I asked about lines tolled me to use photo shop pen tool but from what I gather off the internet from articles, photo shop is the last thing you want to use. What do you think? Also I'm in the market for a scanner what kind do you use?

I personally use PS for all my art work. I love it and wouldn't change it. It's my own personal preference though. As for a scanner I use an HP all-in-one scanner/copier/printer. Just for larger art I have to scan it in pieces and then place it all together in photoshop.
