You could use one of those little ice skater costume patterns. My headpiece is made from this material called Wonderflex and craft foam. I have a tutorial for this sort of thing here: [link]

Thank you so much! <3 I started out with altering already made things, and then slowly moved onto making things on my own from patterns as I got more familiar with sewing and all that. The internet is a great learning tool as well!

I'll be at Otakon! I mostly hang out in the fountains area when i'm in costume. I will be in my Ex-Mode Ultimecia costume on Saturday in the morning/early afternoon on Saturday, so it will hard to miss me in that large thing!
