Thanks for the recommendation, I'll check that out. I really need to get going with art again. Got a scanner, so even though my tablet is missing I can still do something, at least.

Hey, sorry I'm so bad at replying to stuff.  I've been doing well.  This past year has been really productive, but I feel like I have a long way to go before I could land a professional gig with art which is depressing.  I'm glad you're working on art again, and it sucks about the tablet.  I'm actually getting a cintique later this month.  I've never used one before and I'm super stoked to get my hands on it.  How have things been going with you?

Hey, what a coincidence this is the top comment when I come back to this place... It's good to hear from you. I've been on a long spiritual journey and I've come to a fork in the road and I'm trying to reignite my passion for art.

I just finished reading and commenting on your journal entry. I'm blown away by what you've been through. My 2012 was a crappy weird year- what have I been up to? Deets are here (if you want a long read and don't mind my Jesus talk): [link]

But in short: I lost my job, my woman, my dog, my grandfather, and my apartment. I started watercoloring and I'm considering my options for travel as far as Australia, South Africa, and India. I've got a comic-thingie mid-pitch and a powerful need to get on a plane and leave. I cut my hair, I grew a moustache and everybody's getting married but me! LIFE, RIGHT? -_-
I'm glad you're back. Let's art.

That was absolutely beautiful and I don't mind the Jesus talk. this is a departure from the way I felt about religion a year and a half ago, but I really can't see anything wrong with a person expressing loving thoughts. I guess I better turn in my edgy artist card.

Sounds like we both got kinda screwballed in 2012. I'd love to talk more in-depth. I'll pm you my email address. Let us definitely art.

So I'm a pretty shy person. The people I watch on DA I've watched for years upon years and I've only now worked up the nerve to tell them all how amazing they are and how much I appreciate them, and how wonderful it is to visit my DA and be able to see such beautiful things. Thank you. c:
