My son spent three days in Scotland, and he said he enjoyed it the most. He hated Paris, liked London, but Scotland he found the landscape, and the people to be a lot like they are here in the states.

Now are you a birder, or do you just like looking at birds? I have been all over Canada, the United States, and Parts of Mexico bird watching to add to my bird list. I stated watching birds closely back in 1969.

I'm a birder, but just an amateur one. I'd love to do as much traveling as you have! Mostly I just watch the stuff around the city.

Nothing wrong with that. I used to shoot birds when I was a kid, and then one day something got to me, and I got rid of my rifles, and never shot a bird again. I have over three hundred birds on my list, and as soon as spring rolls around, I'll be adding some more.
Keep on birding, and if you ever get the chance, go to Point Pele near Windsor, Canada. Best place to view birds up close.
