Same happened with me before and some maybe were real but I honestly don't know. I've been recently heartbroken and this is not my first, but it did make me depressed for a couple of days, even now I still am upset about it but not as much as before but I know I can still find love. Maybe not now or later but one day.
Same goes for you. You can and it may seem like I'm lying or you just don't believe me but there is someone for everyone.

There are really messed up people and it's sad to see someone go through something like that. I'm very sorry to hear that happen to you. 
I can understand a little on why you feel like you can't love now but time will heal you, even if it doesn't seem like it.
