I'm up for some more brawling. We can always try out different characters when we get bored. (No items, Falcon Punch only, Final Destination is always fun, too. ) I'm kinda strategied out for a while, after tearing through Advance Wars Dual Strike right after my Days or Ruin binges.

Oh, don't worry, I have no delusions about winning the tourney. If I REALLY wanted to win, I'd just worry about getting as good with Meta Knight as humanly possible. Instead, I'm just learning as much I can about Ike and having fun with it.

Now if there were more tournaments like Battle of the Bans, then I'd be all over it. (Items on very high, random button only, random stage, no time limit. ) Or a UFC tournament. (Ultimate Falcon Championship. ) I'd be the first one to go for that.

Finally got around to getting Madworld. Controls feel a bit wonky, but so did Godhand's at first. I'm certainly getting more enjoyment out of it the more I get used to how the game works.

I'm particularly proud of one stunt I did on Jude the Dude's level. Somehow, I managed to smash an explosive drum over a guy's head, stuffed him into a flaming drum, jammed ANOTHER drum over him, and only THEN tossed him into the Human Garbage bin. I don't have a clue how I got three drums on one guy, but it certainly looked silly.


Also, it is me, or is one of the announcers Greg Proups from Whose Line Is It Anyway?

Yup, Greg from Whose Line is one of the announcers. And the other guy was Bender from Futurama. Have you beaten the game yet? Their commentary during the credits is brilliant.

Nah, not yet. I stopped playing for a while after beating The Shamans. I gotta say, losing lives to quick-time events is very disheartening, especially when I lose because the Wii Remote doesn't react the way I want it to.

Man that second match was pretty slick. So much for FTA, huh? I thought I had that one in the bag for the first couple of turns, cutting off your captures so that I'd always have more money, then BAM. There goes 3 of my cities and I just couldn't regain that ground.

Yeah, let's go with Brawl again tonight. But I think I'll be up for some Advance Wars again next week.

I picked up Dual Strike on Friday, and I was amazed at how much easier that game is than Days of Ruin. The last chapter is just like a game of football, except instead of running away from fast, overweight and overpaid stupid people that know how to crush you in one hit, you're running away from the same people with both of their legs broken.

The very first match we did was complete and utter BS though. But everything else more than compensated. Next time, we'll have to do a Bumpers only match on very high.

Truly I'm a brilliant tactician. I shift the game from something where I win 33% of the time against you to something where I win about 15%.
