I'm really sad to hear that....but I can understand your feelings a bit as one whole side of my family is like that. I sometimes want to help them somehow, but I know that in doing so would only get them to want everything we have.

I'm really sorry to hear those kinds of things seeing as me and my brother are actually really close (he basically raised me when my mother and father divorced) so it hurts me to hear that you dislike your brother that much. But I can certainly understand how it is as I have more or less had to disown many of my other family members for being that way, and also because some of them are actually quite dangerous to be around.

I'm not saying I hate my brother. Quite the contrary, I still love the kid, it's just that the kid seems to think I'm just at his beck and call for everything and thinks he can push me around. I'm sick of it. Whenever he's not trying to do that, however, we get along rather well.
And I'm sorry to hear about your family situation. No one should have to go through that, yet far too many people really do. From what I can gather from talking to you, you're a good person. Why do bad things always happen to good people!? (Guess! That! Reference!) [To the tune of Wheel of Fortune]

I'm glad that you feel that way, but luckily (I guess) it's only my moms side of the family that's like that. My fathers side is relatively normal except for their excessive beer drinking. My other side though.....well to be honest they are just dangerous to be around. I can tell you at least four times where my aunt tried to kill another of my family members (usually over some kind of drug or another) and they have even tried commiting suicide a few times each, but haven't succeeded yet. From a time she stabbed my grandfather to another time she pushed my grandmother down the porch steps. Though it's not just her the others are either druggies or are swimming in booze at all times of the day.....I have to admit though they taught me what "Not" to do with my life.
And I know that phrase from somewhere, but for the life of me I can't remember where I heard it. Sorry I suck at these sorts of things.

Oh. Wow, I had no idea it was that bad. I'm truly sorry ou have to put up with that kind of crap. The closest thing to that I have to deal with is my uncle, who's a psycho b**** magnet. His last wife got him on bathsalts, and the two used to fight all the time. Shows how ignorant I really am. No one. And I repeat, NO ONE, should have to deal with a family that makes your life a living hell. The only thing I can think of to end that for you is to move out. How old are you? I'm seventeen.
And that was a Tiny Tina reference from Borderlands 2, Campaign of Carnage downloadable content. One mission, you have to find chocolate chip cookies for her, to learn they're raisin cookies. She says that after the third or fourth box of them you blow up.

Well i'm actually 24 years old, and trust me i'd move out of the state.....no the country I live in if I could. But in the economy here where I live there's basically no jobs, and any that ARE here are usually taken by family members to those who are already working at said place, or they're temporary jobs lasting only as long as they can without making you permanent. My family at least for the most part stays to themselves thankfully, but my mom has warned me to never let any of her family into our house because they would, and have on several occasions stolen things from us. One time I remember we had a giant thing of quarters that we were saving for emergency money and they stole it as well as a coin collection that I had at the time and spent it all on booze and.....well something to smoke besides tobacco. I don't even care whatever it was, but they were banned from coming anywhere near our house as my step-dad told them to stay away or else. They stayed away....for about a year until they wanted us to help them for something, but my mom and dad ignored them. I don't know how they got help, but they did somehow....Ugh anyway they at least haven't even shown their faces around here for a while so that's a good thing.
I haven't played any of the Borderlands games myself, but i've heard good things about them. Still I have heard that phrase somewhere before though, but I can't remember where.

Well, at least things are starting to look up for you, and I'm happy for ya. I personally don't know anyone who's THAT far into drugs and alcohol, but I'm glad I don't.
Those are really good games, by the way. I like them well enough, but First Person Shooters bore me to tears really quickly, even with everything that Borderlands adds to that formula. As to anywhere else that line came from, Tina's the only source I know.

Yeah they always have to me as well. I'm more into RPG's mainly the Tales series, but just about any RPG game is good to me. And I remember it from a movie, but I can't remember what movie it was.

Truer words haven't been spoken....but at least my other side of the family (besides drinking enough booze to sink a ship) are really friendly and usually do whatever they can to help others. Though (and I don't know if this is weird or not) but I actually have three sides to my family. Somewhere down the family tree my mothers side split apart for some reason or another (probably some feud or something) and now I have three sides to the family. Luckily they're about as friendly as my dad's side, but they are really biased against the other side of my mom's family. Basically if you get them under the same roof there's probably going to be a bar fight of epic proportions.....Anyway they are nice (and usually stay clean), but they have a tendency to act mean around me as I look just like that one side....And I have to tell you family reunions are....a bad idea for the most part, but they get along mostly because it's a once in a ten year or so occasion.
Me too. I can't wait until the third one comes out it's been too long coming in my opinion. I also like the disgaea series pretty good.

Wow, can you say dysfunctional? And it's good that that side of the family is okay most of the time. Sucks they hate you simply because you look like someone, but humans are petty like that.
I can't wait for KH 3 to come out either, but it's for PS4 and the odds of me getting one of those soon are astronomical. Looks amazing though!

Well you're probably right, but it might happen seeing as it's a PS4 game. I know that probably has squat to do with whether or not she's a playable character, but it's a hope of mine though. Though the only ones who know aren't telling yet so until they do or don't i'll just wait.

I simply don't think they will make Kairi a playable, unless they make her a clone of Aqua. That's the only way I can see her as a playable working.

RPG's are a large portion of it, but I also like the Sonic games and most other games from semi old franchises, like Mario or Zelda. Never played the Tales games, though. They any good?

They're really good you should play them if you get the chance to. I actually would advise you to get Tales of the Abyss first as it was the first one to really have a good story mode and fighting system. Though that's just my opinion, you can start with any of them you want. If there's anything you want to know about them just ask and i'll tell you everything I know about them.

First off i'm sorry to hit you with all of this at once, but I think it's necessary.
Well unfortunately there's several of them that didn't make it here to the US. But the ones that are here can usually be found at nearly all Gamestops somewhere. And those that can't be found there can usually be found on Ebay or Amazon.
The ones that have made it here are:
Tales of Legendia (it might be hard to find now as it's a pretty old game for the PS2 Though Ebay or Amazon should have it somewhere)
Tales of the Abyss (There's a PS2 version and a 3DS version (Story-wise they're the same so get whichever version you're more confortable with)
Tales of Phantasia (The only version of it that's here in america is a gameboy version, but there's other versions in Japanese Mainly PSP and a Vita version)
Tales of Graces (It should be very easy to find as it's a PS3 game)
Tales of Xillia (Basically the same as Graces)
Tales of Vesparia (This one can only be found here on the XBox 360, but there's a PS3 version that's only in Japan for now. But there have been talks to get that version sent here)
Tales of Symphonia (There's a new version of it coming to the PS3 in about a week. Before this it was only on the Gamecube and Wii)
Tales of Xillia 2 (It's coming out sometime this year, but no definite time has been set yet)
Tales of Vestaria (Ditto to Xillia 2, but it's going to be near the end of this year [Probably around November])
Those are the ones that are here, but there are several others that either are never coming to American shores or is still undecided at the moment. Now something to note about this series is besides those with sequels like Xillia and Xillia 2, and for Symphonia (though the version coming out soon has both or the games rolled into one) is that all of them are basically seperate games not linking directly with any of the others. There are a few that have hints or little things that point to some of the others, but for the most part each game is set in their own worlds and have no relation to any of the others. There are cameo appearances from other characters in the series, but usually in certain battles or in arenas somewhere in said games.
Sorry again to bombard you with all of this info at once, but i've always been a huge fan of the series so I know a bit more about it than I should. If I were you i'd either go with Tales of the Abyss or Tales of Symphonia first to get a feel for how you like it. Each game has differing battle systems, but they're all basically the same. Tales of Xillia and Graces are kinda newer though so you might like to try those first instead. It's really up to you which one to try first they're all really good
A warning to you though if you choose Tales of the Abyss first though....The main character Luke is voiced by Vic Mognogna (The voice actor for Edward Elric, Yoshimori off of Kakaishi, Death scythe from Soul Eater,ect) and he's a bit of an ass/idiot. So I feel like I should warn you before hand just in case.
