So you put stuff in the open source version, then fork it with unapproved features? And then if the OpenDesk features are really good they'll go on CloudDesk?
Is that correct?

not neccesarily really good, bug fixes can also be contributed. Good should be enough.

For example if you contribute a patch of an interesting feature for OpenDesk, it'll be included to CD.
Then if you want to put unwanted features or use a different UI, you can fork it.
You can also suggest a new UI.

Linkback to OpenDesk will be required.

New Galaxy feature:
Open apps on startup and more! You can use special URLs to open specific apps and do other stuff. E.g.
galaxy-os.koding.com
?element3open=true
¬esopen=true
¬escontent=this+is+the+notes+app
&browserurl=address
&calendarwidth=1000px
¬esheight=400px
etc. Try experimenting with your own! This might be an alternative to a login, where you have a save button which gives you a URL to open next time.

That is pretty cool! We're actually making something that allows apps to interact with each other! So, if you open Google Search and press a button on the right, it might open up notepad and write down your results! Plus they'll be able to interact with your login, send notifications, and more stuff!

Yeah, that's what I was aiming for with the open with Element 3 API (e.g. With the dot tk app or if you click simobortolo's name on the search app where it says 'by [him]'), now you can do it between sites! I might make a demo site with 'Open with [your browser detected by PHP]' and 'Open with Element 3'.

Found out dot.tk parks your domain if it gets over a certain amount of views (varies between different peeps) so what I'll do with galaxy-os.tk is I'll make the Koding site have good results on Google, then make it redirect to dot tk via iframe detection. If they park it, I will swap the ad to one for Biz.nf and change the redir to galaxy-os.co.nf ASAP so hopefully not much traffic will hit the parked site and their ads will be gone.
