Nice. Is your band teacher the awesome, horrible or crazy type? One of these classifications seems to fit all band , orchestra and choir teachers.

My original band teacher that started me on everything was a very nice and awesome teacher. Although, everyone that thought they were "cool" thought he was horrible. But that was not the case. He would crack jokes, mess-around with you, laugh, try to entertaining, and would act as generous as possible.

I love teachers like that. Let me guess, when the "cool" kids misbehaved, he didn't just ignore them but he actually punished them right? That's why they hated him.

Well, he ignored him and made jokes out of their complaints. And if they talk during something serious, they would have to copy down exactly, front and back, of the page of every Italian word for music. And if they didn't bring that one in on the next day, he would asign yet another page of the same thing.

<3 awesomness. I am just starting high school and have not yet been in full class with my new band director. The only time I got to meet him was when I was in Honor Band. He seems very strict and aggressive but I wouldn't doubt he is a snuggle bear when I get to know him. You don't get people with passion like me very often, I hope I meet some other people in the concert band that has the same urge to keep it going.
