What did you like about my animation?

I think the first thing I loved (and the reason I clicked on it) was the concept. Β The character Β Fear usually Β shows Β the reaction, I thought it was so interesting that you chose to show him initiating the fear instead.
The animation itself was gorgeous. The lines were smooth, Β the colors worked perfectly, and the character both looked like he belonged with the background without fading into it. The movement itself was simple, but it got what I think was the point across very well. I'll admit that I'm not too picky about favoriting deviations, but I certainly remember your pic and liking it a lot

It's funny because when I first saw the movie last summer it really confused me he was afraid. I'm just so used to this emotion being portrayed as the object of Fear and I kept waiting for him to start doing something scary.Β But that never happened. So I started thinking at what this would have been like if he had been like what I know Fear to be. So I created Scary Fear.
I'm glad you like my animation. First time in a long time I've attempted something like this. I purposely kept the background simple because I didn't want him to get lost in it. I have the full version of this too that's static and every orb has a frightening memory in it.Β I wanted the animation simple. Just wanted to show how easy it is for a cute character to become scary.Β Well thank you. That means a lot. I too am picky about what I will fave and do not fave just anything I see.

That would be really interesting to see the emotions acting as the cause rather than effect. Anger, Joy, and Sadness arguably do, but it would be funny to see Disgust acting disgusting as well. Although, your idea of Fear is by far the most interesting!
The effect worked well, I liked it a lot ^__^

Well my comic is about that in a sense. Anger is the real problem in the story causing the host to act out in rage and taking it out on the other emotions.Β And one outburst by him and he's punched Fear for the last time.Β Someone had to stand up to him.
That is a funny thought that Disgust would be disgusting.Β More likely to happen in a male host I think that likes gross things.Β But yes the majority of my art is exploring this story and concept of a Scary Fear.
I'd rather they comment. I always like hearing why people like my art so I always hope for comments and not faves.
