True, true, though time has been a major stumbling block for me. I'm mostly working on a light, amusing fanfic, since it writes quickly when I'm not busy on papers, but I do the occasional drawing (one of my works in progress is turning out nicely compared to my usual standards) and post some of my photos here.

That's kinda what I did too. I just posted some random art and pretty pictures. Then as I got older my art changed with me. Break is actually one of the hardest pieces I've done in a long time. I have the back pain to prove it haha. Time always kicks you in the pants, right now I have waaay to much time so I just spend hours over my light board working.

Ah, I have midterm work out the ears right now, but hopefully over break, I'll have some time to finish and edit my sketch. I think this is going to be one of the first pieces I'm going to draw on paper and edit fully with the computer... usually I do one or the other. It's a style that one of my friends uses for her art and it tends to work out pretty well, so hopefully I can try. My art's definitely changed a lot, but I still want to improve it more... and every bit of writing I do helps me twofold: it gives me a form of expression and helps me with my writing in general... which is kind of a good thing for an English major.

The plus side to art is you can only get better that's what I love about it. Yeah it takes a lot more time when you are a traditional artist, and more pain >.< Fanfics make me happy b/c it really is great practice for people that want to be writers or English majors hehe

True, it does get better. I did a piece of digital art for my Education 260 class and it took me about 8 hours of work and some headaches from staring at pixels for so long, but it's a great feeling to look at a finished piece you like and realize that you started from scratch on it.

That would be Break for me right now. I wanted to do something really special for my 200th deviation and he just kinda fell into my lap. The top hat was a second idea, after all he is the Madd Hatter. I was really excited to show it off, it was nice to do something challenging after a set of easier pieces.
