Hi. I dont want to totally go off on you like my friends suggested until I see your side of the story, but,
is it true that you are trying to get my friend:

no, i wasnt trying to get her banned, only after she threatened to 'have my account deleted' did i report her images. after all, images of self-harm are prohibited content on deviantART, and the posting of such images is influential to other people, and the last thing anyone needs is to look at something like a picture of someone with their arms sliced up like they lost a fight to a deli slicer and think that kind of behavior is in some way the proper way to behave, or (perish the thought) socially permissable.

And I agree, the content of those photos isnt good for a site where there may, and probably are, young children.
I dont see why anyone would WANT to put up pictures of their cuts anyways. Attention, I'd say. but its not in my place to judge.

i did. the one with the cuts was removed, and the one with the gun was made to receive a mature content tag.
i have no idea why she flew off the handle at me, i suspect she may be imbalanced, expecially judging by the content of her dA... she really should seek professional help to get out of the state she's in... its scary to see people like that, its not healthy!

Well, I dont really appreciate the "Scary" comment there, although you are entitled to your own opinions, of course.
Mostly because I do cutting myself.
But you have to understand that mostly for her its an attention gimmick, which she would deny openly if I asked her, but it is.
I know enough about teenagers and their ways to see through it. That was a one time thing. You can tell from her other pictures where she has no cuts, she only wanted the attention.

regardless of the situation, cutting in itself is wholly unhealthy, surely there are better ways of expressing your feelings rather than physically taking it out on yourself..?

But, yes, I totally agree, people need to realize that there is a better way to deal with their emotions than lashing out physically, at themselves or others. I've already talked to her about it.
