I prefer PSP over PS. What can be done in PS, can be done in PSP, despite what anyone thinks.
So good postwork can be done in that too, it's all about the designer in my opion; what they know, how creative they are, etc.

I don't want to master vector/illustrator, I just really want to get reasonably good at it, so I can import into C4D.

well mostly i like it for that i spend a month making it. But postwork is simple just space art around and the explosione like brushes. But i am not sure if i will be willing to spend such time designing so much. Thats why people collaborate.

well you wont start whit a master pice... Thats the rule even if your old sql or the wilde style are good you need to pull your self 1,2,3 or 25 times to make a good looking pice it's just the idea that comes to your head and there is no matter if you do it by digital or by a pencil or both it's just the way of living. I was nothing like a graffiti writer before or even near to it! But the way of life style, the open topic of adding simpli evrything to what we call style is so big that i want to stay alive all the day long and make such pice as Fresh. And the community inspires to do it. Just have fun, run around and you will do good
