Younger Thorfinn, but also some of older Thorfinn c: I like died when older Thorfinn punched that one big bully farmer dude, my fan girl squee was heard worldwide, that was amazing XDDΒ
I used to hate the new Thorfinn and the farming thing because I thought what was going on wasn't important, but after thinking about it, the psychology of it is fantastic!! For Thorfinn to go through so much and be blood thirsty, to just being peaceful made me really start loving it more, I don't think it would be better any other way.
Also, Canute just makes me angry, idk I don't like him

I do love it when Thorfinn gets to show of his skills. He's so moral and cool, yet such a bad ass fighter <3 Epic combo.
The only thing irritating me about the time lapseΒ thing is that it's dragging out. I didn't really like that run away prisoner/ Agnes's husband arc.
I'm loving the themes though. Canute trying to spread peace through force and Thornfinn trying to do it through getting away from all that monarchy stuff. I think the real heros in the world are people like older Thorfinn, not soldiers 'fighting for their country' but pioneers who work towards aΒ world were fighting for 'the country' isn't necessary.
Yeah, young Canute was interesting, but I can't empathise with older Canute as much.
