Six hours with an instructor, then you're supposed to practice till the driver's test on your 17th bday o3o That's your probationary license till your 18th bday andd then you get your real license. Cant talk/text on phone while driving either, you get pulled over and fined for it if you get caught.

Just practice, as in, driving without a driver's license? Sounds risky, but okay.

At tv I see a lot of American people talking on their phones, since when it's not allowed anymore?

Well, you're with a driving instructor so it's pretty safe actually. And after that you can only practice it a parent or guardian is in the car to help. And even though some people still talk and text while they drive, it's illegal to do so in the state of New Jersey.

Oh, I get the point. Has the parent/guardian also need permission to practice with you? Because there are also people out here with a driver's license who make you wonder how they EVER got it. If you understand what I mean. XD

A friend of my niece died in a car accident because she was texting, I believe.. So I can understand that it's illegal.

There are more accidents in Germany and Belgium, I believe..

Last year when I went to Silbach, the way up, there was one car which was on fire and one which stood over the guardrail with the left side. Don't ask me how he did it. I really don't know. XDD

Also, we have Saint Nicholas (Sinterklaas) instead of Santa. But he arrives a few weeks before he's going to give presents (at the 5th of December) and just.. Hangs out or something?

Instead of socks, children put their shoes with a drawing and/or carrot in it, for the horse of Sinterklaas. And then he gives you 'pepernoten' or meringues, chocolate or something. Pepernoten are a typically snack here, I guess. But they only sell them from September until December or something.

Oh also, Sinterklaas isn't fat. XDD

Ahwell, I can understand why some people think it's racism, but it's an old tradition so it's difficult to change the thing without people feeling offended. But people yelling 'Saint Nicholas doesn't exist' in front of children is just...sad.
