Im having a ball with his bonus CD though.
Its just crazy how he could have these demos and unreleased music that are Just as good as the songs that made the album.
I like that WHOLE bonus album. my fav is gotta be 'Al Capone' though. cant understand a word he's sayin, Lol, but its somehow my fav track from the bonus cd.

This is what im trying to do as a career. im uploading as much work as i can find to put on my website. I have alot more current 'Original' work but in fear of theft, i cant quite upload it here.
but im just about to throw myself out there, im writing and drawing up submissions for companies and im just gonna go for it. im tired of waiting till I feel its a good time.

Lol, I was serious when I said I was picking up my sketchbook. I'm actually working on detailed pencil sketch of a character in one of my totally original stories.
And yeah, the whole theft this is why I DON'T post any original stuff here. if I look up and somebody is making money off of something I slaved over, I will be beyond pissed... so until I get enough cash to get my copyright stuff straight, not gonna show too much original stuff. I might do one or two... but no more.

true story; Actually i had an idea similar to AtLA a few years before that even came out.
because it involved a group of adults learning to control the elements and eventually BECOME the element or the "god of that element", even battling former 'element gods' who turned evil(for whatever reason) and stuff, etc. but i abandoned it after avatar came on the scene.
with mine, the "bending" they do on avatar would have been what my guys would have done at first but as they mastered it, they would have been able to actually shapeshift into water or earth or fire etc.
but, i abandoned that idea, it was too similar to avatar.
so all that was to say, its also sucks when you have the same idea as someone else, u both slaved over it but they get it done before u do. and now u cant do yours because its too similar to the other guys, even if you came up with the idea first. lol

That's kind of what happened with me when I found Kitana: Redemption. I was working on a great, long Kitana anthology, found that story and was like 'well eff that' lol. Even though he didn't get paid for that...

id have paid him for it, that was a masterpiece! before i read that fic, Kitana was not in my top 10 mk chars. i liked her as a char but i never really used her in the games until MK

Yeah, Jade became more important to me in MK9. She was one of my mains in MKD, but 9 really made me like her. 9 made me like a lot of people more actually... probably just because they were brought to life so well.
And yes, that story is amazing! I found it not long after it was finished and I think I've reread it a ba-gillion times since then lol. That story made me go from a fan of Liutana to a hardcore shipper, especially after going along and seeing the enormous lack of support for them.

i use to love reptile but i cant stand his "reptile" form, Lol, i just dont like it. haven't since mk4, lol
and im just in LOVE with Skarlet, she keep it up, red might just be the new green...
Well thats why its up to me, you, and alot of other fans to keep up the support in whatever ways we can.
and it doesn't matter who doesn't like liutana, The BOSS does(seemingly) and that's all that matters
even the 'almighty' Scorpion has haterz, im sure the Subz fan hate turning on the mk9 game or watching an MK commercial every time and being forced to see their fav char get owned by scorpion. i love it, personally, lol
and i rub it in their faces every chance i get. dont get me wrong, i like Subz but, Scorp is better...

Just curious, who would be your favorite fighting game characters not just from Mortal Kombat (if possible)? For me, mine would be:
MK: Kitana, Raiden
SF: Chun Li, Ryu (pretty typical choices, but eh, I still like them best)
Tekken/Soul: Lei Wulong (based on my favorite action star), Ivy Valentine
Also, which of your favorite characters do you think are superior in skills? My thoughts on my list:
Raiden > Ivy > Ryu > Lei = Chun Li > Kitana

i have started a few of my own stories
i dont know if you remember the "consciense" guy i was working on, but ive done his story a little more. this is somewhat of a religious type story action adventure noir type setting(similar to a hellboy tone or batman TAS dark tone, it is set in different time periods because the char cant age(not absent cause of course). this story i had planned to go 1 of 2 ways with or maybe both. i was either gonna have it as a graphic novel or a simple novel series(just to try my hand at writing) honestly, writing about consciense is much easier than drawing it. lol
and ive come up with a couple of other stories.
in the nutshell, 1 idea of this is mainly about a group of teens(starting out)from different universes who somehow meet and who have to guard a few "universal essenses" while also saving the (HUGE)multiverse from various evils(this is the one the others mainly tie into) im thinking of calling it 'Universe' i even made a logo of sorts for it. this sotry is the BIG one im trying to do. thats why its taking quite a bit of time to have anything really set in stone with it. i have various storylines about it, but just cant decide which one to use as a start point.
and im getting into doing a story about a roman era like titan/god called Gladius. this is gonna be like a gladiator type story. (spartacus inspired). this is one story im very excited about working on. and if i can pull off a decent story with either of these ideas, i might send them into a company.
i havent really got a picture of them yet because im still trying to come up with some unique things about them, especially Universe but if i can draw some good chars and have a good storyline and such, im defintely gonna send a submission to a comic comapany.
also, help would be nice...

lol sorry it took so long to reply.. haven't really had the chance to get on here in quite some time
i pretty much have four stories that intertwine with each other through many different occasions but as o now i am starting the first one which is about a superhero named hydro.. most i can say about it is i don't want this story to be like other superhero stories i want my characters to progress through struggle and make their powers greater instead of shunning it because they aren't normal
but yea man i'm up for helping you if you ever need it .. just let me know (lol i wish they had an app or something to tell me when someone has msg'ed me on here.. since i don't get on here enough i never know if someone has said something to me)

nowadays when i hear or see Hydro i think of the robot from MK:Legacy, lol is hydro is hero name or does he have a 'real name' of sorts you know clark kent/superman ?
im working on mine still, im trying to balance writing it and forming ideas as well as drawin them.
im trying to create them all at once sort of, i hop from one to the other because i get ideas for all of them, but eventually they will all be intertwined at the right time.
the story with the most progress is Conscience. i just have to get the geography down and the time setting. this story's beginnings takes place in the 1500s era; all that medieval type stuff. i have the main chars for "genesis"/book 1, but i need to do some research about the era a bit more and come up with a name for my ninja clans.
yea it sucks they have no message notice for like an email or such. well if you have a facebook or something, if your on that more than deviant, you can hit me up on that just find 'Chris Wright' with a SFIV Akuma/mystery char silhouette. and that ill be me.

lol well you know about the bushido story which is pretty much done i jus need to write dialogue and im very lazy at that lol...
but other stories that ive come up with is Hydro and GeoCaching, Hydro is a typical superhero story but its very much manga influenced im trying to do something where an american made hero comic displays things of the japanese cultural manga such as special moves, training to become stronger, and powers that tie into other powers... but its pretty much a story that deals with things i didnt like about superhero comics such as not wanting your powers, and wasting them on lame moves when you could be training to protect those precious and giving it all you got
and Geocaching is the big one for me its a treasure hunting story thats influenced by the Big four mangas out in the world (Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, Toriko).. but its mostly about the main character wanting to start a guild to have a family of his own after being deprived of his parent at a young age (lol no they didnt die)
