You're welcome as well! As I understand it, DPI is closely tied to the resolution of your picture. As it pertains to photoshop, the higher the dpi of your picture, the smaller the pixels become and the more visual information you can apply to your image. Images on the web are usually capped at 72 dpi so that pages don't take a million years to load, but you can and should create higher dpi images for yourself. It's the same concept as resizing: if you have a large image and shrink it down, you aren't going to loose very much information, but if you have a small image and try to blow it up, it's going to become muddy and pixelated. Better to start off with a larger image, you know? Generally, images that are to be printed should be around 300 dpi. The only downside is that the file size grows exponentially when increasing DPI, so you need a lot of space to save them. But the result is much smoother-looking art (provided you have the skill to make use of that smoothness, which I don't). Good luck!
