Ahhh, good luck with that! Luckily, I got mine out the way last year.
I took art, geography, and separate science. I did lang and maths last year, but I have additional maths this year. And then there's all the compulsory subjects.

our compulsories are maths, the englishes and ict short course... + i did french, dual science, latin, art and dt. oh, and i did a spanish'un last year (Y)

i was so annoyed about maths - we're now the last year to do coursework: it had to be us. it takes 10 minutes in the exam, and my teacher makes us do a yellow-pages-type thing to get a 7-7-7

then again, there was some consolation in that somebody who did twice as much work as me only got an 8-7-7, one more mark..... *cackle*...

yeah, latin... although there's only 6 in my class, and it's more a wordly-knowledge and life lesson than language... xD and what went over your head, the maths cw thing? didn't you do any? if not, >____> damn yooouuu!!

the 7-7-7 thing is the mark - there's 3 marks, all out of 8, i did a phone-book-thick project and got 7-7-7 and a girl in my class did twice that and only got one more mark; and 8-7-7. that was satisfying

and we did, um, a fencing problem, to which we figured out the answer in the *first lesson*, then ahd to spend hours and hours proving it..... and the stats one was analysing data from this 'ficticious high school', where we had to prove that as people get older, they generally get taller and ehavier, or something stupid.... it's so infuriating! >_<

and yeah, my school's small... about 650 inc. 6th form my dt class is smaller - 5 xD

yeah, it is our school's just the girls though; the boys' is bigger, and there's a joint 6th form, girls' junior, boys' junior and "kindergarten", ie. prep. So it's actually not that small

and yep, maths is all over... i don't have to do anything to it because mine's not one of the ones being sent off for moderation *phew* and yeah! i feel just as sorry for the examinator... it's my maths teacher i bear the grudge against

nope, thank god... that's most of the grudge, but there's also the patronising generalness of it... it can work in my advvantage sometimes though... eg; it's 3 weeks after the deadline, and i haven't handed in my coursework yet... my teacher goes on a long rant about everything and time management; etc... then at the end get "well, cassie, you know... this is going to have to be a late homework!"

i was expecting to lose part of my gcse or something, instead i get a third of a detention... silly teacher xD
