Would you ever consider doing a shoe for Kida from Atlantis? I love your disney shoe designs, and she is a disney princess. She just doesn't get a lot of attention.

I would definitely consider it, I've thought about different elements of her character design I'd love to incorporate in a shoe - the lovely patterns of Atlantis would make for stunning laser cutouts I'm glad the movie is on Netflix, the last time I saw it was in theaters! Thanks for your suggestion

oh my goodness! I hadn't even thought of the glowing crystals! that would be so amazing! also incorporating the somewhat rough and pointed/ square architecture

I use Photoshop because it has abilities like drop shadow, bevel and emboss and digital short cuts that just make my preference for realism in the presentation a bit easier, but all my shoes start out as a sketch on paper with pencil. I try and flesh out the shape and silhouette of a design before I even bring the computer into the process, but sometimes I "sketch" in Photoshop too, changing things as I go.

I sketch on paper as well but im trying to make the transition into doing them digitally & i just bought a bamboo tablet & it came with ArtRage 3 have you ever used that software b4?

I have a Genius tablet that I absolutely adore, but I've never used ArtRage. The tablet made the transition to digital much easier for me since it allowed me to fall back on traditional mechanics and just draw things when I got stuck with the "hows" of a new program, good luck!!

My ultimate dream would be do design Disney shoes that actually get produced How cool that you're going to Disney - I worked there the summer of '06 and unfortunately haven't been back since.
