Thank you very much I can tell you how I do them I use Microsoft Picture It! to do my manipulations but I'm seeing with other artists' manipulations that photoshop might be a little better. All I do is pick and choose Bowie pics that I think would be fun to play with and then backgrounds that I think would mach...space of course! LOL Then maybe I might choose something for a prop...a moon! LOL Basically, I would cut an image of him out and a prop, if I were to use one, and move the cut out(s) to the background, I also like to use the effects like soft edges and/or fading for the cut out because it blends in well and looks more dramatic; otherwise, jagged edges can be seen and the whole thing would look choppy. I hope this was helpful. Over all, HAVE FUN DOING IT!
