I should tell you, though, that personally I'm not into teasers. As a writer, I find that they are more frustrating than alluring, more off-putting than attractive. I'd rather read a sample chapter than a sample paragraph. That would give me a better idea of your writing style, how you handle characterization and plot, etc. So I guess I'll wait until your work is available, and hope that I'll be one of the folks who can access the book for free.

The AI recommendation is very worthy and, as you say, very complex. Both legalization and decriminalization each have their advantages and disadvantages, and they are on differing dimensions of value, so hard to compare apples and oranges. But one thing for sure: the consensual sex-trade needs protection and societal support. It's never going to go away. It never has, even in the face of the worst of persecution.
I've been having a complex discussion with another dA member about the problems of teasing out what is truly consensual and what only looks like it but in fact is coercion. It seems to me that support for the AI proposal partly hinges on the reality that determining consensuality is always going to be an "after-the-fact" issue if/when it is disputed, even if the "before-the-fact" consensuality is carefully negotiated.
We all know about the importance of having these negotiations in role-playing bondage, BDSM scenes, etc. And we all know that some people (for all sorts of reasons) sometimes lose it during the scene and transgress the limits before they know what the consequences are. And that could be very, very problematic, even in the hard-core experienced sex trade.
