I've noticed how a lot of 'Christians' are turning the Bible into a buffet, they just ignore anything that isn't politically correct or "tolerant"-and only focus on the feel-good parts.
Jesus never approved of any type of sin, no matter what the popular opinions were.

exactly. and this whole "the church needs to adopt homosexuality into its doctrine" just makes my stomach turn. another reason why the world is so corrupt. we as christians need to stand up for what the Lord created us to be and not let the "world" dictate to us how to live. "greater is He that is in me, then he that is in the world"

Who's saying that He approved of sin? Pardoning sin and approving of it are two completely different things.
However, I will agree that a lot of so-called Christians, as you seemed to put it, only focus on the "feel-good" parts. Contrary to what you may think about me due to my previous posts, I don't condone or approve of homosexuality, but I'm not going to force people to change who they are. It's not my place. I'm just tired of seeing people condemn and shun people when, again, it's not our place to judge or sentence people.
Perhaps, though, we're all fighting for a lost cause?

Jesus also talked to the tax collectors and prostitutes about their sins, he didnt sweep what they did under the rug. and before you go condoning homosexuality go and read corinthians before you start preaching to me.

In a way, Jesus did sweep what they did under the rug because He forgave them. You're too stuck on the fact that they DID sin, not on the fact that Jesus forgave them.
I have read Corinthians, it's not like I'm saying what I'm saying because I haven't done my homework.
And way to mark my post to you as "spam". Perhaps everyone should mark all comments they don't agree with as such, it might dispatch any further drama that would ensue.
