`karyaazure is not dead. She is alive. I have chatted with her on skype (text). Erica appears to have had no part in this misunderstanding. Beyond that, I cannot elaborate, and she hasn't told me much more than that, anyway, so don't ask me.

She's sounding very stressed, understandably, and probably won't be having anything to do with deviantART for a while, so deviantART probably isn't the best mode of communication if you wish to speak with her, directly.

Erica... I am so sorry, my friend. You've always kept your private life very private. I knew that you were having issues with your health, but I had no idea that you wouldn't be here today. My guts twisted in knots as I learned that we had lost you.
You, you kind and wonderful woman, will be missed tremendously. You are the reason why I grew to love this place. I always looked up to you. Your demeanor in the community was inspiring. I always admired your calm, cool and collected attitude. I always wished I could be more like you.
I am honored that you made me apart of thumbsshare, and that we have many, many fond memories together throughout the years.
