I have a hard time looking at that image for long. Makes me want to go pick up the cat and give her a hug. Something about that tiny, underbit of a jaw, breaks my heart in half. That image was made with my old camera, and I am pretty proud of it. Not as clean as I would like it to be, but proud of it still, all the same.

I used to have a cat that liked to sit on my shoulder like a parrot.. whenever I was at my desk...just fascinated by the computer I suppose! U should be proud of that shot... it's excellent!

Now, you are being kind, but I love it! One of these days, i am going to get a decent bird in flight, one that I can see clearly, want to be so close that I can see their eyes well. I know it can happen, I have seen others do it. Now, that is true magic. One of these days... (as I crossed my fingers and toes.)

Your shot was excellent!! If u want to see their eyes and alll...either use a large flash for fill... or shoot them using +++exposure compensation....and or a fast lens....always increase exposure for backlit subjects!! Regardless....I love that shot!
