Thanks for the watch, comrade! Though I feel the conversations hold more value then my gallery

Pazholsta, tovarisch! I enjoy your deviations as well as our conversations, so either way I'll be keeping track of you. (Oh, and the above means "it's nothing, comrade!" - I'm actually an American, but I slip into Russian every now and then )

I see. American here as well, though learning German (actually, studying in Germany at this time)

Lucky you! I definitely enjoy traveling and will some day go as far as the Ukraine, Russia, or perhaps Belarus. If I may ask, what are you studying? (other than German? lol)

MouseDenton In reply to Dandabug [2012-01-28 20:05:50 +0000 UTC]

Well not much more then German, acutally. Unless you count my analyzing the culture, getting tidbits of history, and trying to quantify this massive bureaucracy. I find it hilarious that these Germans do everything the conservative Americans tell us will kill our country, and still are one of (if no the) strongest economies in the world! A bureaucracy that makes taking an extra day of vacation a paperwork nightmare, forms to get forms to get permission, different permits for just about everything that could be dangerous in the workplace or sport (guns), and a week of vacation almost every month! From what I can gather, it's because they're all excellently well educated and highly disciplined, which I hope can be recreated stateside, and isn't bound only to this nation of rich history.

LoL, I wish - highest level of PS I've ever used is 7.0, and I got that for free from friends. I highly recommend you try GIMP, [link] which is a totally free download and works just as well as any photoshop program I've ever tried. Don't know if it can compare to Cs5, but hey - it's free AND legal!

Don't mention it - just out of curiosity, have you thought of animating that robot picture? (since your name has stop-motion in it?)

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

BramLeegwater In reply to Dandabug [2011-11-11 21:47:38 +0000 UTC]

The Robot is made for a stopmotion animation but I still have to animate it. I started with animations on youtube. It take a lot of time to make an animation so I started doing digital paintings on Deviant,
but when I read you reply I start wondering. My roots are making stopmotion animations. I will pick it up. Thanks

Thanks again for the wonderful feedback! Just out of interest, did you get the link I sent you last time? I'm a big fan of Hanna's work and I suspect she'd be your kind of girl!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Dandabug In reply to jflaxman [2011-11-01 16:15:34 +0000 UTC]

Hey, don't mention it - and I actually did not see that link before, but it's ironic because I was familiar with Ms. Eerie way before I discovered you, lol. I typically focus more on drawings/paintings on DA, but she's such a talented model that I pay regular attention.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

jflaxman In reply to Dandabug [2011-11-02 08:01:33 +0000 UTC]

That's all kinds of crazy. I only learned about her work when I met her at a party in Glebe.

My DA account mainly showcases serious, dark and imaginative art, but if you want some good, fun, wholesome depictions of equally good, fun, wholesome women, send me your email address and I'll be happy to oblige!

I've had a look at your gallery and it looks like we're wired in similar ways. On my last trip to Sydney I met an alternative model you'll probably like - you can see her DA profile here: [link]

Thanks for the faves and feedback as always, it's a lot more thoughtful than most.
