I wanna let you know that you are my newest inspiration! I'm trying to learn how to draw like you... art style-wise! Do you have any tips for beginner/novice-level artists like me? I would love to learn from you!

As for tips, I'd say the best advice I can think of for a beginning artist would be to always keep a sketchbook with you, and try drawing what you see around you. ย Draw people, animals, plants, buildings, anything you see that interests you. ย It is important to develop your drawing hand, and your mental library of forms and shapes. ย Drawing from life is definitely one of the best ways to strengthen your understanding of drawing principles and growing as an artist, in my opinion.

Thanks for the tips! I really do appreciate it! How do you keep drawing? I mean.. what fuels you to keep drawing? Sometimes I would feel down whenever I feel that my work may not be good enough then stop drawing it for a while.. you know what I mean. I really want to keep drawing til I die.

Yeah, I didn't do very well in the general art track, but I ended up as a finalist for the storyboard track.ย Unfortunately, I didn't get picked in the end.ย No worries though, I'm still working hard on other things.ย I'm probably going to try again this year too.
