Hahaha... Don't worry, it's not only America that's uncivilized/stupid. Before Fukushima and the nuclear meltdown there, Germany wanted to prolong the service of the all the nuclear plants we have here... even the old ones which were totally unsafe!

Which is why I like wind and solar- If they break, we only have to worry about some sharp debris, instead of radiation and who-knows-what chemicals...
It is about 1:15 AM here. (my first class isn't until 4PM today, so no worries). I get really severe migraines if I don't have caffeine though. not just the withdrawal ones, but persistent, chronic ones that I use the caffeine to self-medicate.

Agreed about the energy stuff. No one can control fission.. and if that goes bad, pretty everyone's fucked! Wind and solar energy would also be cheaper than nuclear energy. I'm no greenie, but I think, we really need alternative energies.
Oh, that sounds pretty serious! I'm glad I don't have to deal with stuff like migraines.. Isn't there some kind of medication that'd help you? I don't know a lot about migraines....

It's profoundly annoying, but not dangerous, and the drugs to fix it are WAAAAAAY more expensive and have much worse side effects than caffeine (depression, hypetension, tremors, elimination of libido, hallucinations etc.) -I'm like the mog-wa from Gremlins; can't be fed/caffeinated after midnight/dark.

Depends on how heavy you waana make it... But on MechWarrior 4, I liked to have a hard hitting main weapon (like a Gauss rifle or so), an LRM and some lasers for back-up.
