Don't compare your art to others, just look at the ones you like and try to figure out what it is that draws you to that piece.
Study what they have done and don't be afraid to ask questions.
the worst that can happen is, they don't answer.
But I have found that most people here are very nice.
Of course there are some that are full of themselves.
Some don't answer because they are too busy...
Like I said just enjoy what's here and don't compare your art.
It's going to be unique like you...

I think people should make art for themselves, not for other people. If you like what you do, go on. If you feel like changing, don't be afraid.

I'm kinda new to all of this, I get discouraged because when I'm learning something new..."like the basics"
It drives me bonkers that I take like 200 photographs and I only like ten in the bunch....
I think I was taking the whole view and fav thing too seriously...
I should know better...I used to BUILD myspaces for people and get them their first 100 friends.....

I'm a beginner too, but I think when it comes to photographs the normal is to take a bunch of pictures to get just a few good ones. At least that is what I've heard. Did you ever see photographers "going crazy" with the button and taking hundreds of pictures in just a few minutes?
And from those hundreds something like 90 are trash. I think the "vision" of the photographs (before you even shot) comes with the experience. But I do't know much about this.
