I am considring watching Elfen Lied someday but i have to finish off Cowboy Bebop. When it comes to anime i have to be in a certain mood to watch it or have the motivation. I plan to finish off Bebop when July begins and move onto Kill la Kill. But yeah im surprised this kid is allowed to watch all these anime's i would recommend Madoka but that anime also deals with some dark topics.

Madoka Magica is awesome, but if there's gonna be a lot of violence in it, I don't recommend it to a 13 year old. (I remember seeing the Rebellion in the theater)
I don't know what I'm gonna watch after I finish Kill la Kill. I might watch Noucome, Unbreakable Machine-Doll, Nichijou, Space Dandy, No Game No Life and so on.

Definally i will admit Madoka is one of my fav animes on second thought yeah it's best not to recommend it for 13 year old's considring the themes it's dealing with. I have seen Rebellion and i must admit it was damn awesome i assume you know the big twist at the end. I heard Space Dandy is made by the guy who made Cowboy Bebop which means it's going to be awesome.
