I usually love it but these were hard! D:

Hm... "Cows are to milk as butter is to Woolworths"?

I thought they were ok when I did them. There was one with a lot of penguins that gave me a headache though.

The penguin one was kind of evil.

arraignment In reply to who-ate-the-tardis [2009-04-05 11:41:20 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, it was. But the most evil part of the whole exam was a passage from LotR. Trying to make sense of that stuff in a room that smells like paint is impossible.

I don't remember that :0

Haha, all of the academies smell like paint. I'm just surprised how much of a variety of icky paint smells there are :S

Hm, the people from other rounds last year also didn't get it. I was probably just unlucky.

Yeah. I think my maths room smells the worst.

I just started watching House again this week. I stopped for like, a month.

It's funny

It wasn't on tv Channel Ten bastards.
I've been downloading it.

The episode that was on this week was the one with that insulting patient. It was pretty good.

who-ate-the-tardis In reply to arraignment [2009-03-27 09:18:04 +0000 UTC]

That was pretty good. The next one's about an evil kitten

Oh, and Miss Dawn told us the story of her life in Yellow House. On her first day she kidnapped Retired Head of House's favourite plastic beetle and held it to ransom with her PC group
They kept it up for several months.

arraignment In reply to who-ate-the-tardis [2009-03-27 11:04:51 +0000 UTC]

Of course she would do something like that.
Hmm, not many teachers at your school talk about their lives. They're like robots.

who-ate-the-tardis In reply to arraignment [2009-03-27 11:57:46 +0000 UTC]

She was sulking because Mrs Dean of Students didn't put her in Red House like she was when she was at school

They don't...

arraignment In reply to who-ate-the-tardis [2009-03-27 12:07:06 +0000 UTC]

Huh? I didn't know she used to go there!
The weird thing about your school is that people actually sort of like their houses.

Huh, that reminds me, I used to be in a house called Browne, but our color was green

who-ate-the-tardis In reply to arraignment [2009-03-27 12:34:40 +0000 UTC]

Didn't you? She made herself famous in her first year by falling in a drain and skinning her shins.
Call me sponge for I retain all.

I was in Cook. It convinced people that they looked through everyone's surnames and determined their house in some strange way based on that.

arraignment In reply to who-ate-the-tardis [2009-03-27 12:56:27 +0000 UTC]

Haha, that's awesome. Blue House's teachers were old and boring. Or maybe they were just English teachers, who knows. They never revealed any backstories. But I suppose Miss Dawn is a main character.

I don't remember much about my previous houses. I remember that two others were red though.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

who-ate-the-tardis In reply to arraignment [2009-03-27 14:08:53 +0000 UTC]

This morning was actually like that episode of Torchwood where they're all trapped in an exploded building and we discover their backstories... there was even falling rubble, because my yummy slice thing crumbled into my cordial...

I wanted to be in the red house so much :0

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

arraignment In reply to who-ate-the-tardis [2009-03-27 23:07:36 +0000 UTC]

Why did you want to be in the red house? It had evil teachers like Sporty Maths Teacher (our teacher last year), Unfashionable English Teacher (The one I banished), and Angry German Teacher.

who-ate-the-tardis In reply to arraignment [2009-03-28 01:56:11 +0000 UTC]

It was terrible D:
Of course I gave the dredges to Freya, and she squealed, so I guess that up for it Seems we can't stop throwing food at eachother nowadays...

I meant at my old school... Ideally I would have been in Blue House at this school.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

arraignment In reply to who-ate-the-tardis [2009-03-28 07:39:55 +0000 UTC]

Squealed? About the cordial-soaked food? I suppose she's still the same.

Why Blue?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

who-ate-the-tardis In reply to arraignment [2009-03-28 07:57:35 +0000 UTC]

Ooh, it was pretty nasty...

Because it's proved to be the most awesome house.
Then again, yellow has Miss Dawn and Sexy PR Lady, so I dunno...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

arraignment In reply to who-ate-the-tardis [2009-03-28 08:02:36 +0000 UTC]

Blue was once a great house. We had a free proper lunch on the Senior farewell day. Then the economic crisis started, and we only got Coles poppers.

Blue has Furcoat now. It is ruined forever.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

who-ate-the-tardis In reply to arraignment [2009-03-28 08:12:30 +0000 UTC]

Yellow denied the economic crisis.
But really that just means it's stupid, not cool.

That's terrible. Does Mr Choir not balance it out?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

arraignment In reply to who-ate-the-tardis [2009-03-28 08:19:41 +0000 UTC]

But it's cool to be stupid!

Maybe a bit, but I'm still glad I left. There was a 50% chance that I would have been in Furcoat's PC!

Now I want to try that idea I had about giving teachers points, then finding the overall score of each house.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

who-ate-the-tardis In reply to arraignment [2009-03-28 08:25:49 +0000 UTC]

I guess

Nah, you would have been in Mr Choir's PC. You just would have been.

Haha, yes. You should do that.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

arraignment In reply to who-ate-the-tardis [2009-03-28 08:38:34 +0000 UTC]

If they would do that to anyone, it would be Billy. No, wait, they'd think that's politically incorrect.

Teacher: I'm sorry, the senior PC's are full. You can go with the little kids because you don't talk to anyone anyway.

Me: Noooo!

Then my TV show would change genre and become lame. It'd be about helping people or something.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

who-ate-the-tardis In reply to arraignment [2009-03-28 08:46:47 +0000 UTC]

The senior PCs are pretty crowded.
I could see it happening.

It wouldn't have to be about helping people.
For instance, you could be drawing, and the little kids are all hanging around saying how good you are, as they do, then Mr Choir could turn on the fans, and the paper could blow off the table and give them all paper cuts on their faces.

Then he'd probably kick you out because he loves little children and it'll look like you planned it.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

arraignment In reply to who-ate-the-tardis [2009-03-28 08:53:28 +0000 UTC]

That's brilliant! Now I wish there were some little kids around. Or paper, for that matter.

But it was his fault! I'd probably fly pretty far if he kicked me, and this was an anime. Wheee!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

who-ate-the-tardis In reply to arraignment [2009-03-28 09:06:36 +0000 UTC]

You need to go to a kindergarten, where there's an abundance of both

Haha, that would be awesome.

"Crap! I broke a window! And a student! They just don't make kids like they used to."

Of course, he probably turned the fan on because he was wearing a jacket to cover up his unironed shirt...

Actually, I think technology has made glass better.

I thought it was more of a running joke. Blue house is the house for people who wear jackets in summer. I'm still mad at Emo-looking Girl for wearing her blazer for longer.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

who-ate-the-tardis In reply to arraignment [2009-03-28 10:45:01 +0000 UTC]

But it used to be double glazed in the House, which he comes from because he's a Denizen

So that's why they put him in blue!
It's sad. But she beat you fair and square
Emo's are good at the whole suffering thing, so you had your work cut out.

Immaterial Glass? Yeah, that stuff is tough. You couldn't throw a Piper's Child through that!

Willingly going to an IB school > Cutting yourself.

Hey, when should we have drawing club next?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

who-ate-the-tardis In reply to arraignment [2009-03-29 12:14:16 +0000 UTC]

We should have drawing club at a library

Next week sometime?

Oh! Opus 1 this Wednesday. I dunno if I can come, I'll have a short story to write :S
But just so you know

arraignment In reply to who-ate-the-tardis [2009-03-29 12:20:59 +0000 UTC]

Library? On the weekend? But there's little kids! D:

I don't think I can make it to Opus 1. Doubt we'll be missing anything interesting anyway. The epilogue will just have to be Open Day, I think.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

who-ate-the-tardis In reply to arraignment [2009-03-29 12:41:12 +0000 UTC]

Hmm... there's plenty of corners to hide in though... and kids don't like reading as Twilight supporters make out, you know.

We can sit in the big Reading Boat and intimidate them.

Okay then... I suppose there's Opus 2 and 4 as well...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

arraignment In reply to who-ate-the-tardis [2009-03-29 20:38:39 +0000 UTC]

Sounds better than my library. Apart from the Twilight supporters.

Yay, that would be fun.

Opus 4 would be good.

who-ate-the-tardis In reply to arraignment [2009-03-29 21:19:01 +0000 UTC]

Yes. We shall have to go there.

Opus 4 is the most crazy one anyway
