i'm sure a good portion of this site's revenue is applied to infrastructure and support, but there comes a time when you should start to realize profit... think about this βΊβΊ angelo doesn't work any other job, but devianART - that tells me that deviantART is somewhat profitable for him...

Actually, while I think there is some real God given natural talent there, I do think he has shown himself to be a rank amateur.
A professional would have shown a much better balance of quality crap over the quantity I've seen.
For union compliance if for nothing else.

yea, that's another odd thing about it - his intelligence is obvious, but he's showing strong imbecility when it comes to humanity issues... humanity being the key to this community.

You know the business partner that I've referred to in my journals is one of the smartest people I know. He got his Phd at 21 in mechanical engineering - that's not done. He also is quite charismatic. What happened was that he at some point started to believe he deserved things because of who he is, and forgot that right and wrong actually matter. He's headed to jail for over three years at the moment.
I don't think Angelo has done anything worthy of jail time. Yet. But he exhibits exactly the same attitude that I just saw ruin a career, a family, sunk a company and caused more pain in more people I know personally than I thought possible. A part of me (a small part) wants Angelo to see that he is playing with the devil here. I am not trying to save him, but he is going to regret this if he wins this probably more than Scott will - Scott will have his dignity and respect of many people intact.
I also think making enemies by the thousands at 24 is just mind bogglingly stupid.

You know, after posting that, I decided to go read the California Corporate Code, or at least the portions that seemed applicable. The result of that is my latest journal entry.
There is actually quite a bit of jail time I could see for what has taken place. Plus, dismissal from the board for him and anyone else possibly involved and a bar from serving as a corporate officer.
How about that!
