Ugh, trust me, it will take too long to write. Mostly, my mom might have brain cancer, im ruining my friendships, taken up knitting to try to reduce some stress(not working), and im slipping into a depression slum where i used to be. It's fucking awful. do you mind if i text you btw? I know i do it a lot, and i know it can be annoyng...and a

I take it then that they haven't done a full biopsy yet then? If there is any sign of tumors on her brain, then they could very will be benign and simply treated with surgical correction.
Has she been exhibiting any odd, bizarre, or unwell behavior or symptoms of illness (mental or physical)?
A very close friend of mine actually had brain cancer, in one of its more severe stages, and actually survived.
Of course you're social activity is declining a little, and of course you're a little depressed. It's very understandable. I know the past few months were very scary, and now this? It's perfectly understandable to feel sad or depressed... gloomy... during times like this.
Can I even tell you a secret? I, too, have gone through a very, very, very icky disorder that almost ended my life-- and the lives of the family members that were taking care of me, too, slipped into a dark stage when my own illness was combined with troubles of their own.
While you know that I advocate, as a philosopher, the acceptance of all things that life hands to us, I also must advise you, as someone who cares deeply about you, to not give up and to keep going strong.
Talk to me. And be more detailed, what's going on? I'm here for you.
And hell no I don't mind when you text me at all. You can call me or text me twenty four hours a day. I don't give my number out to everyone-- I only give it to people who I care about.

Persian name - Deeba. Not pronounced how its spelt, thats why I gave up living in Australia with that name. It annoyed me how people pronounced it. It's just Dee. Plus I don't like throwing around personal info on the net..

Oh yes, I completely understand.
Actually, I am Middle Eastern in heritage. My
common name, Sean, is like your own in that it
is a shortened version of my name at birth.
Even though I was born here in America, my
parents are immigrants from Iran, and are Muslims,
so they felt that it would be appropriate to give
me an Islamic name to represent the faith that
I'd be brought up in.
Unfortunately, because I'm Iranian in heritage
and Islamic in background, I catch so much hell
over here-- so, I just say "Sean."

I found that reading or meditating an hour before
bedtime, not actively doign anything, helps quiet
