My classes are going pretty well, and the job interview was good; however, the person who referred me failed to mention it was full-time, so I couldn't take the job in the end. How frustrating e_e;;

Ah, that always is dreadful, since knowing it too late is usually a bigger problem than when you know earlier on. Hopefully, another opportunity comes along though.

It really can be a lot less stress when things are going well.
That must have been very awkward and uncomfortable to have happen. That's why people should always specify those things.
Look at it this way though, since the interview went well, they might keep you in mind for if they get a part time position open up. It happens more often than not.

Absolutely, although unfortunately, "stress-free" for me only really occurs over the summer. :^(
That's actually the company's policy; they keep your resume up to 9 months in case any job openings occur in which you are applicable for. I don't think they have any part-time gigs going though

I understand, when the least work is going on, that's when it's the least stressful.
That's a good thing then, as for part time, you never know. Sometimes with the economy, even smaller corporations /or larger ones on metropolitan areas/ open up things. Mainly because the pay rate for a few part time employees still is lower than a single full time employee.
Nine months would also be around summer, which is when a lot of temp positions open up at those things, so a lot of things could happen.

True that. I can feel the stress creeping up on me, finals are approaching pretty quickly. D:
Mhm, the bank I had the interview at was a local company. The pay they offered seemed on par with regular corporations though; they have a small IT department, so they don't cut on the salaries.
I know the bank has internships over the summer, which are part-time, so I may bite on that. I believe they're paid as well, which is pretty awesome.

If you can get an internship, not only is that good if it's paid, but having something like that on a resumé is amazing as well. Mainly since it shows that other companies aregistered willing to work with you . So that's definitely a win win situation.
