Well, hm. Looked at the pouch once more and by "most" I should have said about 25-30%. I'm not overly familiar with possums or their overall workings, so there may be more than I have knowledge of. I will be taking pictures of her tomorrow and can link you them for you to see.

Haha I'm in no rush dear I have my female then a much smaller male here I'm deciding what to do with. Female is pretty much solid black with a white face, male is standard gray and white but has a long white sock on his rear foot (of the same tanning/skinning quality).

She indeed does. It's a bit tattered as she was harboring young, but it's still there.

I'm fine with that I have a male wolf that I don't terribly have use for (was planning on selling him). He's got all four paws and claws, head, average tail, heavy furring on his body. Damage to one of the front paws (leg skin cut and stretched). Very hansom facial markings though. I was thinking of doing a pelt collection photo shoot so he will be included as well

for soft mounts, do the pelts have to be tanned a specific way, or is a standard tan okay?

They 'should' be tanned specifically for taxidermy, but I've had success with other tans as well. It's really touch and go. Once you get into it, you begind to figure out which tans work for you the best, when soft mounting.

so they don't need a specific like.. garment tan?
I've heard from some people that you need a garment tan for that, and i was kinda worried because my coyote is tanned for lifesize.

If your coyote has been tanned for l/s and is soft, that's perfect! Like I said, other tans may do as well- such as garment tan, dry tanned, and even some wet tans, but are touch and go, but prepped for any kind of mounting is best.
