i know how you feel. i've been struggling with many of the same issues for quite some time now.
the poster you commented on earlier was the result of a very warped sense of humor from hanging around way too many dudes for way too long... that and the mental corruption that comes along with being on 4chan waaay too much.
i had, at one point, a body that i felt i could be proud of, and then i got pregnant. since giving birth to my watermelon of a son, i just haven't been able to shake the weight i gained during my pregnancy.
society has put the idea into our heads that if you can't see a person's ribs through a nearly transparent layer of skin, then that person isn't beautiful and isn't worthy of mention. It was that 'ideal' the prompted me to make a 'bones are NOT beautiful' group on facebook.
i do appologise for the snarky remark earlier. i took what you said as criticism and retorted in much the same manner. though that's not appropriate, i deal with a lot of negativity and flak from a lot of people on a daily basis.
in any case, i want you to know that you are NOT a fat girl, and that i happen to find you an extrement lovely and visually appealing person. I've visited your gallery and taken a look at quite a few of your photos, and IMO, i don't think you have a whole heck of a lot to worry about.
i know this is just the internet, and i know that a lot of what i'm saying can be taken as simply lip service, but from one girl to another, one girl struggling with the same self-esteem issues, i want you to know that i happen to like you.
there's nothing wrong with leading a healthy lifestyle. i'm learning the very same thing right now. I'm trying to eat properly (i almost typed 'eople' there. yes, i'm trying to eat people...) and i make a good effort to go for a nice long walk every night... but it is difficult, and it is most definitely a struggle.
if you have a facebook, you should check out that group I mentioned earlier. I'm finding that it's become a very good support system.
