Eh, nothing new. I've just been having constant night terrors lately (terrifying) and schools about to end (yay), but that means tons of UNNECESSARY and IRRELEVANT WORK

Ah no D: I hope you'll get over it eventually, and if not, then it doesn't matter. I know many people who are terrified to drive but they're able to do it anyway (my mom), she's just an extra careful driver. And if you live in a metropolitan area, I don't see the merits of learning to drive, either.

Hm, maybe you could learn how to turn your fear into a motivator and/or a tool to remain sharp while driving? I think they have counseling or YouTube videos or something to explain how to do that.

I'd definitely take a break from driving if you're getting panic attacks. It's not worth sacrificing your well-being, for now. Maybe things will change, but I wouldn't worry about it as of now.

I've just been trying to kennel-train my 3 year old dog She has such a piercing bark, and it's gotten to the point where she actually lost her voice. I'm a horrible dog trainer.

Sort of, but then it was immediately followed by panic. I didn't want to graduate because that means being an adult. I can't find a job anywhere and my mom refuses to let me follow my dreams of being an archeologist because the college she wants me to go to doesn't have an archeology program.

I'm so sorry, that sounds really frustrating. Maybe, you could research all the positives of being an archeologist and present them to her along with some names of credible colleges that have an archeology program. Or you could go to school for something that the college your mom wants you to go to offers, and once you get on your feet a bit, you could transfer to a new college that DOES off an archeology program.

I hear you. My family is crazy, basically, my parents aren't over what happened in their childhoods, so they assume we're going to end up just like their families did. My siblings and I can't talk to them about anything, because they are so close-minded and old-fashioned that they never share any of their opinions (unless it's about a person who isn't famous), and if anyone brings up their opinion about something they are shut down. Like the other day I tried talking to my mom about her opinions on discussions of shifting the voting age to 16, and she gave me a 30 minutes lecture about how wrong it was for me to bring it up with her in a car.

Haha, yeah it doesn't help I have a different mindset than my parents, but I think that it's just our generation? I think the millennials and those that have followed have different mindsets and new ideas that have yet to be accepted, if that makes sense.

I agree with that. We are WAY more accepting than the last generations but we still have a ways to go becase there are many who are raised to be like the last generations. I looked up a long time ago for a research paper (this was like in middle school so this may not be true anymore) that compared to later generations, millennials are less religious and more frugal with our money (less likely to go to the movies and out to eat, stuff like that). Which both I can understand. There was more on my paper but I can't remember it on top of my head. Last week, my aunt (my gpa's sister) said to my face, "No offense, but you millennials are going after us baby boomers like criminals, trying to ruin EVERYTHING we had worked so hard tomake this country a better place. But what do you do? Giving MY health care to poor people who are too lazy to get off there asses and get a better job than working at McDonalds. Let those freaks (LGBTQ+) run wild and poison the minds of your generation, making you think their sins are okay. Your generation is going to Hell in a hand basket. And you better not think that all this is okay. Or you'll be going to hell, too."
Little does she knows that I AM part of the LGBTQ+ community...I was so mad, I stomped outside and waited for my mom in the car....to only get a lecture for how rude I was to storm out of her house like that. And on top of that drama, I haven't heard a peep from my girlfriend for over a month. It's getting to a point where I cry myself to sleep at night because my heart is full of grief because I don't know if she's alright or not. Sorry for my long rant...
